THE ANCHOR DISCOVERY (1956)

In 1956, fishermen made an unexpected discovery off the northern coast of Öland when they hauled up an old anchor from the seabed. Today, it stands at the main entrance to Byxelkrok Harbour as a reminder of the area´s maritime history.
