By Train and Bus

Travel comfortably by train to Kalmar. From there, regular buses cross the Öland Bridge and continue north to Byxelkrok.

Direct Bus from Stockholm to Byxelkrok

During the summer, Silverlinjen operates a direct direct service from Stockholm to Byxelkrok – a convenient journey with no transfers.

By Ferry from Oskarshamn

During the summer season, you can travel by ferry between Oskarshamn and Byxelkrok. The crossing across the Kalmarsund is a scenic journey and an attraction in itself.

By Car to Byxelkrok

Byxelkrok is located at the northern tip of Öland, approximately 100 kilometres north of Kalmar. The drive takes you through the island´s varied countryside, passing many attractions and picturesque villages along the way. During a period of heavy traffic, the eastern roads (H925 / H974) provide excellente alternative routes northwards.
