THE FERRY m/s UTSKÄR
(1985-1990)

m/s Utskär served Byxelkrok from 1985 to 1990 as part of an extended coastal route. The service operated from Byxelkrok on Öland via Västervik, Nynäshamn, Dalarö and Norrtälje to Öregrund. The vessel called at 21 intermediate ports along the 450-kilometers route.

HISTORY

1965

Delivered as Pernille II.

January 1984

Sold for NOK 1.5 million to Ötaxi and renamed Utskär. New Volvo TMD engines were installed.

1985

Sold to AB Aug. Lindholm, Stockholm for SEK 3.5 million. The vessel continued to be leased to Rederi AB Kust & Hav, Dalarö. The service operated on the route Byxelkrok - Västervik - Nynäshamn - Dalarö - Norrtälje - Öregrund.

1990

Service via Byxelkrok ended,  and Gothenburgbecame the vessels new home port.
